Excellent ambience!!!! Fantastic service by lovely Kiyomi B. Lovely location in Park Royal.
No matter we are reducing our calories!!!......, we got a fantastic affordable choice: French onion soup plus lettuce wedge with blue cheese dressing. Dry Cider was our choice of beverage .
The place is lovely , great conversation with Kiyomi B after walking two hours from Keith and Lonsdale in North Vancouver -

My husband & I came here to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. We had never been here before but a few people had told us that it's a good place to come with amazing food.
Once you get upstairs, you can see the bar off to the right & the dining room to the left with the hostess stand front & center. We were seated promptly and our waitress was quick to come for our drink orders.
Drinks - I ordered a blueberry lemonade and it was absolutely delicious. It would be the perfect drink for a hot summer day if you were looking for something to hit the spot. The husband ordered a Caesar which he said was too spicy but he doesn't like spice all that much.
Appetizers - We ordered the crispy fries cauliflower with garlic hoisin sauce, a delight to me. They were perfectly crispy & not over breaded like some places I've see. And the sauce had just the right amount of kick.
Entrees - The husband & I got the same thing but I have a food allergy so I couldn't have the whiskey sauce that comes with the peppercorn steak. The green beans were perfectly cooked and the garlic mashed potatoes were creamy.
I would highly recommend coming here if you're looking to spend some time with someone you love or if you're celebrating something special. -

A beautifully designed restaurant with impeccable service. I'm surprised the ratings on this place aren't higher!
Service was outstanding. Our waitress definitely made our experience really enjoyable with her upbeat personality and attentiveness.
The decor in the restaurant was very modern contemporary. I especially loved the lighting fixtures that they had in the main dining area.
As for the food, my family really enjoyed our steaks. We ordered the prime rib, filet mignon and the chicago style top sirloin. I usually love my steaks more charred, however the chicago style steak made my medium rare steak a bit more overcooked than I'd usually like. Other steaks were delicious and perfectly medium rare.
All of their side options are good. We got a twice baked potato, regular baked potatoes, and fries. I love that they provide bacon with the baked potato!
Parking was a bit difficult to come by since the restaurant is located in a shopping center. We had to park further down near McDonalds, but it wasn't too bad of a walk.
My friends from Vancouver recommended this restaurant to me and I would do the same for anyone visiting the area! -

This was a really nice place to have steak and seafood. The food we order was mostly really kce and delicious. Something that was really off putting of the keg is that we waited almost 2 hours for our food to come. The waiter said the kitchen was under staffed which made no sense to us. That is because the people who almost just came got their food right away so it was sort of terrible. Their menu also lacks in options, because I always look for a menu that has everything I like and my family likes. There was also a fly in our salad which made everything worst. This trip was kind of disappointing. ;(

We came to the Keg after our walk at the Capilano suspension bridge. Last time I went to the Keg I wasn't too impressed but my friend told me that the oscar steak is her go-to so I had to give that a try. Yes, indeed it was a whole lot better than the striploin I had the first time. The scallops were cooked to perfection and the steak was a nice medium (even though I asked for medium rare). The twice baked potato was awesome as always (but very filling). Our server was really nice and friendly. My partner had the prime rib meal and it was good. Nice and juicy with some fat on the side.
...Keg you're starting to win me over from Cactus.
